JetBlue Transitions to Next-Generation Cockpit Screens for A320 Fleet

JetBlue has announced a deal with Airbus to integrate the “Enhanced Electronic Instrument System (EEIS2)” next-generation cockpit screens into 46 of its A320 aircraft.

Developed by Thales and integrated by Airbus, these new LCD-based screens will replace the old cockpit systems. The upgrade aims to provide pilots with higher-resolution data, improving flight safety and operational efficiency.

The EEIS2 system also supports advanced capabilities, such as enhanced weather radar and satellite/ground-based landing systems, aligning with the FAA’s roadmap for next-generation aviation.
